My finished project!
I used Winter Frolic Cartridge for this. I also used Bling and flat back pearls that I get from my wonderful and amazing friend Miriam. ( I'll leave her info on the bottom so you can get some from her too!!)

My next project was 3-D Poinsettia Ornaments. I cut the 4x6 chipboard in half to make them 4x3 inches each. I made 5 layer poinsettias and put them on the decorated chipboard.

I inked the edges of the chipboard and each flower petal and leaves, also used my bone folder, and made folds in each petal and leaf, and folded them up for extra demension.

Added some ribbon, bling, and a flat back pearl from Miriam!

I'm very blessed my 2 year old lets me craft!!! He's so calm and quiet!! Give him a basket, and he's in his own little world while watching t.v.!!!

    Nightmare Before Christmas Hop

Tee and Jearise are collaborating on this hop because they both love The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack Skellington. Take a ride to Halloweentown as we bring it alive through many creative projects from our awesome line up of crafters/bloggers.

Our sponsor for this hop is Cutting Cafe, who is giving away three files of the winner's choice. You can get qualified for the drawing, which will be held on October 15th, by leaving comments on each blog. The more blogs you comment on the more chances you have to win so please hop through all our bloggers.

Now on to Halloweentown... and a quote from Jack Skellington to get you on your way, "Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it!"

We are major NBC fans... anything Tim Burton does, we all just LOVE it in our house!

So, for this blog hop I decided to make a set of easle cards that I'm going to be sending to my uncle and his wife.

    Here's what I used....
Black cardstock by Wausau, gold and burnt orange cardstock, not sure by what company, Orange and Silver Handy Hundred cord, Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Ink, Stampin' Stuff's Pirate Gold embossing powder for the background, gold micro beads on the bottom, 3D foam adhesive squares and finally, Diamond Glaze on their eyes.

I did a spin on the "Triple Time Stamp" technique on these cards,  with the clear ink, then embossed them in gold.

Jack's eyes look blue here, but the Diamond Glaze was not dry yet when I took this picture....

My handmade from the heart stamp.... embossed in gold.

Thank you for stopping by today and now please continue on to

    Sci-Fi Blog Hop

The future: it holds a fascination for us. We sit and look at the stars and wonder what's out there. Many have tried to imagine what it would be like to reach the stars, to see that future. Those people created Science Fiction, a way to immerse ourselves in that imagining. Today we share with you a piece of our visions of this future time. Our hop starts at the head geek's blog: http://miriamscreations.blogspot.com/ If you have warped in from somewhere else make your way through hyperspace by clicking on the link, resistance is futile. If you arrived from Sandra - http://365daysofcricut.blogspot.com/ then you are following the correct space time continuum.

We have a great sponsor today! Scrapping with Lisa Designs will be giving a $20 gift certificate to the winner of our blog candy! To enter leave a comment on each blog, you are not required to become a follower but I'm sure it would be appreciated. Make sure to check out her files at http://scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/!

So, the inspiration for this card was my son and hubby. Everynight they have this bedtime ritual where, they sit together, pray, and then say they love each other. But this is how the conversation goes....
Hubby " I love you buddy" Tony, " Love you too daddy" Hubby, " How much do
I love you?" then here's the fun part...... they race to see who can say " All the way to the stars and back!" first..... then Tony says " How much do I love YOU daddy?" then they race again....Tony usually winning both times... ( hubby always lets him win that race!)
So, I used the Toy Story Cricut Cartridge and made the little Alien and the space frame. I used a little Alien sticker I got from a little book at Disneyland. I liked this pose of the Alien because it looks like he's saying " This much" and the little on is pointing to "this much".
I just used green paper for the card, yellow for under the frame and red for the frame itself. Inked the edges in orange Studio G ink.

The inside of the card is simply the answer, as if my son was saying it to my hubby!

Thanks so much for stopping on your trek through the galaxy. The shuttlecraft is waiting to take you to Jennifer's portal http://creativecricutdesigns.blogspot.com

I added Diamond Glaze on the cuts, to make them look wet. Also added it to the bubbles. Also threw in some little round gems and a flower gem in Ariel's flower in her hair and one on each of the mats. Hope you enjoy looking!!

Welcome to The Watermelon Crawl Blog Hop! Who doesn’t like to bite into a red, ripe, juicy watermelon on a hot summer day? Yum!!!! If you drive down South, you can find people selling them on the side of the road, out of their pick-up trucks. I think these are the best, because they come right out of the garden. You will always find a cute watermelon cut out at a baby shower or wedding shower, we eat them on the 4th of July, and we make sherbet and wine. You will find them in our kitchens; on our walls, curtains and cookie jars. And they are so darn fun to craft with. Today we have some very talented women that want to share their watermelon crafts with you. So come do the Watermelon Crawl with us! You don’t want to miss anything so the beginning of the hop will start at Pamela's Blog http://www.kraftykatstampstudio.blogspot.com

Here's a little mini-album I made for my mom's birthday. She likes homemade gifts, so I thought I'd make her this, but also, show her how much I love her!
She love's the color green, and most woodsy colors. She says, in her old age, she's liking more "BLING"... so I tried to add some of that for her!
